Research Associate(s), Biology
There are multiple openings for experienced research associates in the in vivo, bacteriology and molecular biology groups. Research associates work in a dynamic team and have responsibilities based on their level of experience. Preference is given to local candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Design, conduct and evaluate in vitro and in vivo experiments
- Prepare reports, summaries and protocols
- Present data in team and department meetings
- Service and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree with 2-3 years relevant research experience (biotech or pharma preferred)
- Excellent cell culture and molecular biology skills, alternatively bacteriology
- Proficiency in flow cytometry, luciferase assays, cytotoxicity assays, molecular biology techniques (PCR, RT PCR, Real time PCR, Northern Blot, Southern Blot, cloning, etc) ELISA, a plus
- In vivo animal research experience a plus
- Word processing and spreadsheet data management
- All candidates should be willing to learn and expand their qualifications
